It's time to start transitioning into Fall!!
I know I was just posting about 'flower power' and tips on how to dress in this heat wave, but I'm over it!! I'm ready to layer up. I'm ready to wear darker tones and wool hats. I'm ready for Fall, dammit!
I'm embracing this slow transition by seeking out rust and other muted colors. This shirt is still floral, but it's a great transition piece. It's got a retro-70's vibe and you'll be seeing earth tones like this all over the place in the coming months. When you go shopping, look for lightweight pieces that you can wear in the Summer, but layer up once it gets cold outside. Like a lightweight cotton sweater, a printed oxford shirt, a lightweight jacket. Transitional pieces are just as versatile as your wardrobe staples.
Take note: the floral print lines up across the front of the shirt. That's no easy feat! That requires work and great craftsmanship. Cutting the fabric exactly the right way. A sign of a well-made shirt! Also loving a good wide brim hat for Fall. It adds a little something...
Are you ready for Fall or still living in Summer??
