Tips on how to wear a suit during the Summer:

  1. Don't
  2. Ok, do. But if you are going to, I highly recommend wearing tailored shorts or cropped suiting pants. Give your legs some room to breathe!! It's hot as hell out there. [tailored shorts are not shorts you took to your tailor.... it's a term used to describe dressier, more elevated shorts. Like if you took a pair of trousers and tailored them into shorts]
  3. Wear a half lined or un-lined blazer. [that means less structure, fewer layers]
  4. Opt for cotton or linen.
  5. Push up your sleeves
  6. No show socks are your friend!!
  7. Carry you're blazer till you're inside. No one will judge.

That's it. It is possible to look polished and still stand the heat, just shed a few layers and avoid wool! Nuf said. What are your thoughts on blazers with shorts? Yay or nay?
