Quarantine Blues
At this point, I’m pretty sure we’re all aware of my love affair with blue and grey. They’re the foundation of any great wardrobe, but my closet is completely overrun by those two colors. I don’t actively hunt for them when shopping, I just stumble on incredible pieces that happen to be blue and/or grey. This cotton bomber from HUGO BOSS is a prime example. It’s the perfect blend of ‘sporty’ and ‘tailored’, and the mixed media details really take it to the next level from your run of the mill bomber jacket.
If you want your shoulders to look a bit more broad, raglan sleeves are the answer (that’s the slanted shoulder seam you find in a traditional "baseball tee”). The raglan sleeve on this jacket is made out of nylon, which adds more structure to an otherwise soft silhouette.
The jacket would go great with a pair of denim, but since I pretty much live in linen all summer long, I figured I’d try styling it with a pair of straight leg trousers.
