Well, it’s been an interesting year for shopping, huh?
I stocked up on resort wear at the beginning of the year when I should have been stocking up on sweatpants! If you’re like me, you probably did more online shopping than usual with all of this time spent at home. Fall has just begun and I’m already hunting for more sweaters like this one from Neiman Marcus. It’s plaited cashmere and I thought the ribbing and texture were so fantastic! Cashmere is usually a bit more of an investment than wool, but I think it’s so worth it. It’s incredibly soft and will last year after year. You can’t go wrong with a classic crewneck either.

Last fall, I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive dinner for InCircle members at The Zodiac Room in Neiman Marcus Hudson Yards. It was hosted by celebrity chef, Fabrizio Facchini, and was such a special evening. Fabrizio made the meal in front of us and I brought my mother as my date.
She died over the truffle ravioli with caviar.
With the pandemic, it was great to see a major retailer like Neiman Marcus offer new ways to shop at home. I had a really cool experience recently grabbing some fall pieces with a Neiman Marcus virtual Style Advisor (@logan.s.miami). We discussed my style on a video call and he put together an entire pdf with five different fall looks I could shop from. When you shop in a store, stylists always know the collections better than you and find hidden gems you haven’t seen before, so this was a great way to experience that same level of service without having to leave my sofa.
