Our first #OtterExpedition of the year was in Arizona. We hit up the red rocks in Sedona and shot in downtown Phoenix. This time around, we headed for the mountains in Utah!!

It's been maybe 7 or 8 years since I have gone skiing and I'm surprised how easy it was to jump back into the snow. Skiing is 90% confidence, so if you're brave enough to hurtle yourself over the side of a cliff with twigs strapped to your feet, you're basically set. Technique is just there to keep you alive on the way down.

We skied several slopes around Salt Lake City, including some of the old Olympic runs, but we made sure to take a mid-week break for some shoots and a full spa day. I definitely needed my legs rubbed down-- those mountain trails can be a workout! But just check out those birch trees and gorgeous mountains in the background! It's like Narnia.
