You can take the boy out of the city, but he is still going to find a cement wall to shoot in front of!!
This is the Snow Bird Ski Resort in Utah. It's constructed from solid concrete. The walls have developed this rusty patina that helps them blend into the marbled rocky mountains. It's man vs. nature, yet it's such a simple design, the man-made feels like it's meant to be there. From birch trees to rebar, it's a great locale to shoot our last #otterexpedition of the trip.
And I love that sweat pants are finally acceptable to wear in public! I usually wear them with a denim jacket or thick sweater and button down, but I threw a blazer into the mix for a dapper-street look. It's the intriguing combination of layers that elevates the look. If you just throw on a t-shirt or sweater, you're more schlepy than stylish. Try a few layer combinations you might not normally put together (jacket/blazer, sweatpant/blazer, denimjacket/suittrousers) and see what happens.
Already packing for my next #OTTEREXPEDITION to San Fransisco!!!! See you soon City by the Bay. Can't tell you how excited I am to get out of this snow.
