There are two easy ways to wear white denim in Winter: 1) wear them with all black or 2) Wear them with neutrals.
For today's post, I partnered with INC International Concepts to style a few Winter Neutrals for an #INCNightOut! I was attending a holiday party but really wanted to look fresh and bright. You don't have to wear dark colors to be party-ready!
"Neutral colors" include black, white, grey, beige, camel, and brown. I actually consider indigo denim to be a neutral in fashion as well because of it's versatility. It's certainly a foundational color in my closet.
When layering neutrals (or any monochromatic color palette), texture is key! Make sure you have a mixture throughout the outfit. The denim and topcoat are solid, so you gain visual interest through the pattern in the sweater and the texture of the scarf. The crisp white shirt pops all the more next to wool and a chambray bow tie. If everything is solid, the whole look comes across as flat.
Don't let Winter drag you into a black hole!! Shake off that seasonal affective slump with some brighter colors! White denim always makes me feel bright and confident.
How are you wearing neutrals this Winter??
