The short sleeve sweatshirt is Steve McQueen's fault. He popularized the look when he wore it in The Great Escape. His version was an oversized blue/grey sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off, but riding a motorcycle will make anything look cool. Actually... just being Steve McQueen will make you cool.

Now the look is back, cut short and slim and I'm obsessed! It's an unexpected twist on something most guys already have in their closet. You can wear it with a pair of shorts or denim, but why? Mix it up with a trouser and oxford shoes for a mash up of sport and sophistication. You'll look polished yet easy-going.

I went rugged today and threw on camo and boots. I guess I was channeling Army street style. Now all I need is a motorcycle!

What do you think about the short sleeve sweatshirt? Would you wear it?
