Dear Summer,

I'm over you.

We had a nice little fling for a few months, I must agree. The days were longer. We shot at 7pm and still had plenty of light. We had picnics in the park and laid out on the beach. We wore short shorts and tank tops and drank rosé.

Those were good times. The short short times.

But I'm gonna be honest, I just like Fall better. Fall is more adventurous. Fall has spice. Fall has cozy nights in with giant blankets. Fall has layers and style and dimension. Fall is... more interesting.

This is going to be a slow moving break-up, I can tell. You have a hard time letting go.

And that's ok. I will embrace shorts and layers. I will wear tall socks with sneakers. I will transition color palettes.

Just know this is coming to an end soon and I will be running off with Fall.
