Shoe Shined

Gordon Rush has been one of my favorite brands for years now. They’re literally my go-to shoe for fashion week, nights out in the city and pretty much anytime I put on a suit. 

They’re dapper AF! I can’t think of a better way to say it!

Anytime I’m asked for a recommendation for a shoe for a wedding, around the office or with a specific suit, Gordon Rush is the first brand I recommend. They’re extremely well made and wear-in well.

I step way outside of the box and wear them with cropped pants and t-shirts, but they are a more dapper inspired label.

In an effort to also feel dapper AF, I took this opportunity to nab a shoe that was missing from my closet (I don’t know why), a black cap toe! I’m wearing a lot more black this year so now I officially have a shoe for every occasion. 

The cap toe is great because as you wear them in, the crease that generally forms across the top of your foot forms along the seam of the cap instead. Which hides the wear a lot better. I thread my laces straight across and tuck the strings on the inside of the shoe for a more streamlined look. Adds that extra little polish to and already dapper look.
