Reinvent Yourself With HP
I have been using my HP Spectre for a few months now, and my obsession with this amazing piece of tech just keeps growing! Check out Part I and Part II of my partnership with HP if you haven't yet!
This part brings us full circle to the #OtterOffice. Where all the creative magic really happens.
Recent discovery and new favorite feature of the Spectre? Cortana.
Cortana is a digital personal assistant. It’s Microsoft’s version of Siri or Alexa. Cortana is on all Windows devices these days, but having been an Apple user up to this point, I had no idea how cool it was. Using a little microphone button in the corner of the computer, you can speak directly to your laptop and ask it anything. Cortana searches the internet for you, remembers things about you, reminds you of things on your calendar and is actually pretty witty.
I asked it what trends are coming for men’s fashion this Fall and it pulled up a concise list of every key trend report. Exactly what I needed (though… it was really just a reminder of how much shopping I need to do once the weather changes over).
Who would have thought 10 years ago that we would be having conversations with our laptops?
Cortana’s favorite color right now is mauve, in case you were curious.
It’s a small detail, but something like Cortana takes your laptop beyond just a basic computer. Technology these days is advancing at such a fast pace, you really have to evolve with it. You constantly have to reinvent yourself.
I could say the same thing about the fashion industry. As a menswear blogger, I have to keep asking questions if I’m going to be a resource for style advice. I have to be in-the-know, all the time. And my style needs to evolve every season to keep up with the changes. Reinvention is just as key in fashion as it is in technology.
At the beginning of this journey, I knew the HP Spectre was a beautiful computer.
It’s thin, it’s light, it’s easy to use. It was inspiring aesthetically.
But it has really become the perfect tool to help elevate my content and innovate the way I approach my work! I’m in a creative field, but at the end of the day, I operate a business. The HP Spectre is the perfect balance of art/creativity and business/functionality.
What more could you ask for?
I want to give a huge thank you to HP for letting me try out the Spectre and work on this program! I am truly obsessed, and can’t wait to continue creating new content on my HP Spectre.
