Rainy Museum Day with H+M

I used a very rainy day in New York as an excuse to check out the new fashion exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It’s been a mild winter so far, so I left my parka at home and wore this fantastic car coat from H&M instead. I layered it with a houndstooth shirt jacket (also from H&M) and a pop of color for a look that’s classic but still feels fashion savvy.

I might get a hard time from New Yorkers for showing my ankles in February, but I loved the cropped pant with a 3/4 coat. The proportions felt playful and the polished penny loafer pulled it all together. I’m linking the whole look down below!
