Plated

I'm not the chef in this relationship. I'm the baker.

I'd rather follow an easy recipe than navigate the nuances of coming up with dinner. That's why I was so excited to partner up with Plated for today's post. They solved all of that for me.

Plated sends you exactly what you need to make a home-cooked meal. Everything is portioned out for two plates so there is no guess work and they give you a recipe card with easy instructions on how to put everything together. It takes the struggle of finding a recipe and going to the grocery store out of the equation and you aren't left with leftover food in your fridge because you had to buy an entire container of heavy cream just to get the three tablespoons called for in a recipe!

And can we talk about herbs?!? You have to buy an entire bush just to get 3 basil leaves. It's ridiculous.

So Plated is a no brainer.

They sent me a box with two recipes (in a subscription you can get three at a time and add on desserts). You pick which recipes you want from the weekly menu. They ship them in an insulated box with giant ice packs, so you don't have to worry if it sits around for a few hours. I picked the Pan Roasted Pork with Peach Salsa as my first recipe.

Peaches in the Summer sounded good.

Check out the pics below and let me know how you think I did! I followed the "Novice Time" rather than the "Pro Time".... for obvious reasons. Still only took 30 min.... plus time to set up lighting equipment.  :P

How does it look? It was delicious! Peaches were a good choice.

I picked up a few cinnamon rolls too, so stay tuned on Instagram to see those pop up. They sent the dough, all I have to do is roll em out, cinnamon/sugar dust them, and throw them in the oven. I live for cinnamon rolls. Like LIVE. So I'm excited!
