May Flowers

It's a rainy day in SoHo but the flowers are blooming and New York is bustling. I spent my afternoon with friends, sharing margaritas and tacos at Cafe Habana before hitting up a few of my favorite men's clothiers on Crosby Street. 

If you're trying to layer when it's humid outside, stick to super thin pieces with texture. They will add interest without weighing you down. I wasn't going to let the clouds ruin my spring so I reached for my micro-floral print shirt. This hacking vest is the perfect lightweight layer to break up the pattern and protect (at least a part of) me if the skies decided to downpour. Packing an umbrella helps too...
