Cloudy Skies, Colorful Horizons
It's raining. It's snowing. It's raining. It's sunny. It's 60 degrees. It's 19 degrees... It's time for a vacation from this weather!
We're heading to Arizona in a couple days and I could not be more excited. I'd be happy with snow, but this in between nonsense is just a killer. I don't know what season to dress for anymore and this Arizona boy is not used to actually looking at the weather forecast. Is ice falling from the sky? How do you dress for that?!?
Today it was 50 and cloudy-- for half the day. Promptly followed by snow and then rain.
Thankfully for me, vacation=shopping. Time to take advantage of those post holiday sales and figure out my wardrobe for Early Spring. I will never break far from grays and blues... but I'm searching for dustier, softer hues this season. Something a little more washed out, if you will. The 70's are in a huge resurgence this Spring/Summer so muted colors abound. For men, that means softer, earthy greens, rusts and creams paired back to soft wine and lavender.
Now, it's not like I ride seasonal color waves but I definitely found Pantone's Spring color projection fascinating and worth checking out. You'll be wearing a lot of these colors without even thinking about it, so it's important to know what they convey about you. I'm looking past this bleak Winter, you might want to too! Check out the full Pantone palette here and let me know what you think about the colors: Men's Spring 2015 Colors
