It's a little outside the norm and not really appropriate for the traditional office, but if you work in a creative or non-conservative workplace, give these a try! It's as if you couldn't take the heat of Summer and decided to cut your wool pants off just above the knee. Polished but breezy.

Here's a styling tip: Like dress pants, you should continue to wear them with oxfords but ditch the socks (or opt for loafer socks). Stick with a button down shirt, with or without a tie. It's not the kind of short you wear with sneakers and a tee.

Shake up those Suits in your office and wear something modern! The Otter sure is...

P.S. It's also a great look for daytime weddings and brunches. Just sayin'... What do you think? How would you wear the shorts?

Club Monaco shorts (old, similar here and here) / New Look shirt / American Apparel bow tie / Billy Kirk bag / G.H. Bass & Co. oxfords / Banana Republic sunglasses / Nixon watch
