A Little Rock In The Desert

While everyone was sitting in the rain back in NYC this week, I ran off to the desert for a little fun in the sun!! It was crazy hot in Palm Springs, so I stripped off my Fall layers and brought my desert fashion back to the basics. And by basics, I mean simple looking pieces with TONS of detail. This season, Armani Exchange launched a rock and roll inspired collection available exclusively at Macy’s, and I partnered with them to give it a dry run.  ;P

A black tee and white jeans is such a classic combination. It looks crisp and the colors work year round. If I were back in NYC, I’d throw on a leather jacket for a night out and be good to go. There are rips across the front of these jeans and a studded lightning bolt on the back pocket for a rocker edge. I always cuff my jeans to show a little ankle (or more boot in the winter). When you’re only wearing a tee and jeans, little rolls and tucks go a long way to elevating your look. 

I paired the white jeans with this limited edition Armani Exchange tee and slip on sneakers with hidden elastic laces. Overall, it’s edgy, but super laid back. Perfect for an #OtterExpedition in the desert!
