Wheat Field
There is a huge wheat field behind my parent's farm and I couldn't help but shoot my wheat denim in the middle of the tall wheat. It just had to happen. It's so unbelievably peaceful and laid back here! I spent the afternoon mixing up some Moscow Mules (yes, I'm riding the MM train and I'm obsessed. If you haven't had a Moscow Mule in a copper cup, you have to try it.... I could write a whole post about them! Refreshing and perfect all year round.) and watched the sun set over the rolling fields.
Thanks to sites like ASOS and GILT, I recently discovered a number of fantastic brands out of the UK. They're a nice break from the usual US mainstays and they often take bolder risks with print and trend. Bellfield makes clothing that is not only bold and fits amazingly well, but is pretty affordable. They say on their website they "enjoy designing creations that will empower the wearer to stand out from the crowd and exude effortless style". A floral print shirt definitely makes you stand out, but Bellfield did this print in all the right ways. It's easy and classic.
