In a day and age where you can wear denim and a blazer to most offices in place of a suit, what is 'casual work attire'? When I don't really want to get dressed up for work but still need to look presentable, I usually throw on a polo. It's just enough collar to look polished while still feeling like you're wearing a t-shirt. If you're wearing a polo to the office though, you shouldn't pair it with denim. That's more for the weekend than a meeting. Stick to chinos or a slim trouser.
On casual days like this, I ditch the briefcase (or really, the tote bag) and just carry my iPad case or portfolio instead. I'm all about feeling care free today and I have everything i need inside my Stone + Cloth nautical stripe iPad case. It's perfect for the Summer and as I mentioned in my last post, every purchase helps fund scholarships for students in need! It's a feel-good day all around. T.G.I.F.
