I told you I love elevated activewear! Todd Snyder is my spirit animal. In honor of my love, here are some tips to avoid looking like you're heading to the gym while wearing sweats:

The key is in mixing highs and lows. These joggers are a low while the floral shirt is a high. (A low is something casual/knit/cozy while a high is something refined/polished/elevated) It's a mash up that's smart. Take your joggers and grab a coffee on a Sat morning, or go for a day out in the city. It's relaxed but polished enough for wherever you end up. Throw on a blazer and you're set for a couple of late night drinks. Just make sure your joggers are cut slim and lack any sort of giant logo on the side.... It's time to think differently about your sweatpants!   ;)

We shot this look in front of a brand new hotel by our apt called The Paper Factory. It's exactly what the name says: a converted paper factory. There's just something about converted industrial spaces that are so interesting. I stayed at a stunning hotel in Midtown called the Refinery that was once a hat factory. Desks that looked like sewing machines, drawings of hats on the walls, tile mosaics of millinery tools... It was like a themed Restoration Hardware (another love of mine). Our families are coming for Thanksgiving and we already booked rooms at The Paper Factory. Looking forward to a peek inside!!
