Honing in on the Holidays
If you haven’t started your holiday shopping, you’re already behind.
I have a mantra while shopping for people: find something special. Not necessarily something they asked for, or something they need, but something special.
People will buy what they need.
Other people will buy what they asked for,
I want to find a gift they wouldn’t think to buy for themselves.
So how exactly do you do that?
First, start with accessories. They’re honestly the safest and not something guys tend to think about for themselves. It’s hard to nail down a guy’s size in clothing and who knows if he has the latest headphones…
But you can never have too many bags and boots, right?
I partnered up with Ecco for their Holiday Campaign and it gave me so many fantastic gift ideas!
Every guy needs a well-made briefcase, but this Foley Laptop Bag comes in a really cool stone color. It’s refreshing to find an office essential in a something other than black or brown. He’ll stand out from everyone else in the office.
If he’s all set on a bag, look to boots. A sturdy pair of boots that will last a (true) Winter is hard to find! This Whistler GTX High boot is comfortable and versatile— somewhere in between utility and city-style.
Once you find a guy a great pair of boots, he’ll wear them the entire season. It’s as simple as that.
So when you start your holiday shopping (if you haven’t already) stick to my technique and start with accessories. There’s so many gifts to be found and holiday shopping can be so easy if you stay on track.
