You can't go wrong with the classics: a denim jacket, a white tee and chinos.

They're grounded in utility and have been around since the 50's. The basic tee was standard issue Army underwear till James Dean came along and rocked it with a pair of denim and a serious amount of machismo. Elvis and ranchers alike have worn denim jackets through the years and the chino is undeniably one of the most versatile pieces in a man's wardrobe. They're iconic and yet completely open to your personal style.

So, how would you rock these classics?

...P.s. We shot in the West Village for this one because I am obsessed with a coffee shop down there. Cafe Minerva is an under-the-radar neighborhood coffee house that lets you forget about the big city as you submerge yourself in some of the city's best espresso. It's a great place to get some work done, have a sandwich or (my fav) split a $20 bottle of wine... Gotta hold on to quiet places like this in NYC.
